Job Title:  Accounts Payable Supervisor                                  

Reports to:  Financial Controller

Department: Finance                       

 

Principal Purpose

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate and up to date AP ledgers and ensure integrity with GLs
  • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers
  • Provides management with AP analysis as required
  • Supports a culture where finance is a service function that adds value and is not seen as a business overhead
     

Principal Elements

  • Oversees all Wilsonart UK AP ledgers
  • Develops and maintains AP systems, process and policies
  • Ensure all invoices have appropriate documentation and / or approval before payment is made
  • Reconcile accounts to supplier reconciliations including intercompany accounts
  • Resolves queries and problems with admin, suppliers or documentation in a timely fashion
  • Executes month and year end routines and processes including preparing prepayments and accruals
     

Job qualifications and requirements

  • 5 years experience in working in AP 
  • Process orientated, experienced in implementing process improvements
  • Highly proficient ERP /  IT skills particularly with regard to AP

Job Title: Financial Accountant                                    

Reports to:  Finance  Controller

Department:    Finance

 

During these unprecedented times all companies are learning how they can work differently. 

An opportunity exists for a technically strong and process orientated Financial Accountant to join the team for a three to six month assignment to support making some changes necessary to support the business going forward.  Reporting to the Financial Controller the role holder will be required to support the monthly accounting routines whilst supporting other projects as required.  The UK Finance team are working remotely for the foreseeable future so location is not an issue for this assignment.

All we ask is that you can work independently at home, be resourceful and resilient to see tasks through to conclusion. 

 

Principal Purpose

To maintain the integrity of the company’s financial transaction processing and ensure that the company complies with group, statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.

 

Summary:

  • Responsible for the integrity of financial postings and the GL ensuring that all BS accounts are validated
  • Provides technical support to the FC on statutory, regulatory and compliance issues.
  • Supports FC with AR, AP and cash management issues
  • Oversees intercompany trading
  • Supports FC to streamline financial processes and controls

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
  • Assisting, supporting with regulatory reporting
  • Ensuring the integrity of financial processes, ledgers, records and controls
  • Creating financial and  KPI reports as required
  • Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
  • Rationalising and leaning financial processes and data

Job qualifications and requirements:

  • A degree and experience in the financial field e.g. Accountancy or Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Studies
  • Newly Qualified / Finalist ACA or ACCA qualification
  • Good IT skills
