Decor of the Week: Marbre Sirocco

A shining star in our Moody Marmo trend concept, Marbre Sirocco is a brand new grey marble with dark, swirled veining and realistic depth, with a 60 finish that gives it a smooth, matt texture.

The Moody Marmo look from our 2020 Trend Report calls on statement colours for walls and cabinets, but really lets the work surface do the talking. With a standout pattern like Marbre Sirocco, dark furniture, jewel tone paint and gold hardware are the ideal combination for modern, understated luxe.

Marbre Sirocco is a realistic marble effect, available in a slim 22mm thickness for a modern profile, and square edge that replicates real stone – but with all the practicality of laminate; it’s affordable, versatile, easy to maintain and easy to fit with no need for templating.

In our flat lay above, we’ve used matte black fittings and swatches of striking navy paint – ideal for walls, or cabinets with a matching island; the swooping pattern of Marbre Sirocco will have impact across multiple surfaces in a sprawling kitchen, but equally in a small space crying out for character. Use dashes of gold hardware for a luxe finish.
